<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">ABOUT THE PROGRAM</span>: OAK STREET</strong></p>
<p><span>10 Bed Co-Ed Transitional Living Program for adults with Substance Use Disorders in Willimantic.&nbsp; Clients must attend outpatient treatment while in the program. Clients must have a discharge plan as it is a transitional living.</span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:</strong></span></p>
<p>To provide general and clerical support to the Residential Program.</p>
<p><strong><em>By: </em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintaining record keeping for the Program</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Performing other clerical duties</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ensuring the safety of the premises</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Assisting with client transportation and/or client groups, as needed.</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><strong>:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintains physical environment and program standards set by funders, accreditors, and agency policies.</li>
<li>Monitor self-administration of client medications in accordance with the agency medication policies and procedure as program may require.</li>
<li>Effectively utilizes appropriate communication methods/tools to effectively collaborate with co-workers and clients.</li>
<li>Teaches and assists all residents in areas of developmentally appropriate activities of daily living.</li>
<li>Assists/Manages administrative functions and tasks at the direction of the supervisor.</li>
<li>Prepares and facilitates educational and skill building groups and one to one intervention as directed by the treatment plan.</li>
<li>Collaborates and coordinate care with providers and families as needed.</li>
<li>Assists residents in addressing medical and psychiatric needs.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.</li>
<li>Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings, and other meetings as assigned.</li>
<li>Additional duties as required.</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Education:</strong>&nbsp; High diploma or GED required.</p>
<p><strong>Experience:</strong> Two years&rsquo; experience working with a relevant population preferred.</p>
<p><strong>Licensure/Certification/Registration: </strong>Valid driver&rsquo;s license required with good driving record.</p>
<p><strong>Training</strong>: CPR &amp; First Aid Certification required OR must obtain within 90 days of employment.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>COMPENSATION*:</strong></span>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p>
<p>$18/hr</p>
<p>*Our per diem and fee for service positions offer a flat hourly rate.</p>
